Hacking for Oceans (H4O) brings together stakeholders of ocean-themed problems with academic talent that can provide rapid solutions to those problems. It provides students the opportunity to work in interdisciplinary teams, to learn Launchpad Methodology, and to develop solutions for real- world problems. Hacking for Oceans (H4O) provides students with the opportunity to solve problems critical to our oceans through mission-driven entrepreneurship. During this semester long course, teams will conduct approximately 100 discovery interviews with potential customers, subject matter experts, and members of the relevant communities. Mentors are essential to team success to help guide students through the process. We are looking for mentors who can meet with student teams once a week.
